A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a Winnipeg woman accused of abducting her 12-year-old son.
Tristan’s family is suspect an alleged parental abduction by his biological mother.
Police haven’t said specifically where the two were found, and say they’re still investigating the case.
Winnipeg police had announced late Saturday that they were looking for the mother on the charge of abduction. The pair had last been seen in the St James area on Saturday morning.
“Charlotte is white, 5’4” tall, 120 pounds, multiple tattoos and red, shoulder-length hair.
They are likely travelling in a black, four-door 2014 Kia Forte LX, with the Manitoba Licence Plate GVW 620. McMahon has been remanded in custody.
Police say a tip from the public and the help of RCMP resulted in the arrest.
